Are dogs allowed?
We are allowing dogs on site. However they have to be on a lead at ALL times and all dog waste must be taken home with you.
Are Groups allowed?
Please note we do not accept large groups without prior arrangement. Parking can be limited and we do not accept mini busses or coaches without prior notice. Please email brookhillfarm15@gmail.com if you would like to bring a group and we will do our best to help.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there are two portaloos, which our visitors can use.
Do you have baby changing facilities?
Unfortunately we don't have any specific baby change facilities.
Do you take cash or card?
Even though we are based on a rural farm, we have the technology to accept both!
What should I wear?
Please dress appropriately for the weather. If it is wet we recommend welly boots.
Is there food?
Depending on which event you will visit there will always be hot and cold drinks and potentially hot soup or ice cream depending on the season! Plus lots of delicious cakes available to purchase. Please dispose of all rubbish in bins provided. During Halloween we will have food trucks on selected days.
Is the site suitable for a pushchair / wheelchair?
We are a working farm and The Pumpkin House field is uneven. If it has been dry then the paths will be easier to navigate. If it has been wet, then it would not be very easy.
Do you pay for parking?
No, parking is free but cars are left at their owners risk.
Is smoking permitted?
No, smoking and vaping is permitted anywhere on the farm.
Can we bring a picnic?
We kindly ask that visitors please only consume food and drink bought from The Pumpkin House.
Please note:

We reserve the right to refuse entry and to remove people from the farm.

Halloween
What are the opening times?
We open on the following weekends 12/13th October and 19th/20th October 10 am - 4pm
Then every day from Thursday24th October - Thursday31st October 10am - 4pm.
We may announce some late night fright nights during October depending on the weather.
Do I need to book in advance?
No – we do not require advanced booking. You can just turn up. Please note we have Free Entry
Can I carve my pumpkin at the farm?
At present we are not able to offer pumpkin carving workshops at the farm as we do not have the facilities or staff available to assist.
What else is there to do?
There are loads of things to do when you visit us. Enjoy the traditional vintage musical organ, explore our spooky maize maze (there is a charge) have a browse in our Halloween shop with costumes, candles, home made soap and broomsticks. Play tin can alley and welly wanging (how far can you throw it!). Have a slice of pumpkin cake and a hot chocolate whilst the children enjoy the builders yard and mud kitchen. Plus take some brilliant Halloween photos with our Halloween photo opportunities.
Will the pumpkins last until Halloween if bought early?
If you look after your pumpkin it will last for weeks UNCARVED. Store them somewhere frost free with plenty of fresh air e.g. a shed, garage or outside. Once carved your pumpkin will last 3-5 days outside.
